I seem to get more and more of these experiences where I am struggling with something and I open a book, get an email or a post on facebook and find support and answers. It feels really lovely.
Today I woke up in one of these heavily depressing states; low energy, sadness and overwhelm. My partner had a talk with me about how I could go about it and I managed to get out of bed. When I then went on facebook the first post I saw was this: http://www.hsphealth.com/blog/2014/06/how-to-prevent-burnout/
The cynical inner voice went; “oh yes well, that kind of stress related stuff is all over the internet. Don’t think you’ll learn anything you don’t already know” But then I sat down to read it and yes, maybe I didn’t learn anything completely new, but what it did do was support and add to some of the things my partner and I had discussed in the morning. And I do need reminding that things do look a bit different from a HSP perspective and I think this blog entry does it very nicely.
Thanks for this!! And thanks for the intro to hsphealth.com! I suspect that most of us need these reminders over and over again, as we busy-fy our lives. I know I needed this today 🙂
